Monogram Baby Rhinestone Shoes

Hi all,

Here is an easy to create project using Swarovski rhinestones. This can be given as a baby shower gift or placed on top of a diaper cake. With an impeding christening I have decided to add rhinestones to a pair of christening shoes and give it as a gift.

Here is what is needed:

150-200 red Swarovski crystals for each shoe this depends on the size of the crystals.
1 pair of baby shoes
1 bottle of glue (fabric glue)

Step one:

First apply fabric glue to the bottom of baby shoes of your choice, but only apply in small parts at a time, this gives you a chance to move rhinestones around and manipulate them to your liking before the glue sets.

 Step two

 Apply the rhinestones

Before applying a monogram, figure out the size and the font you would like to use.

The monogram may be applied to the top, the side or even at the bottom of the shoes.

Visit to Drottningholm Palace

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a  great summer.  This summer Drottningholm Palace was one of the many places visited on my visit to Sweden. It all began with Queen Katarina Jagellonica who was presented with the first palace approximately 1580, to honor her it was named Drottningholm, she later died in 1583.

In 1661 Queen Hedvig Eleonora brought Drottnigholm, after it was burnt to the ground the queen had it redesigned and rebuild.

Here are a few pics from the visit:

Cameras are not allowed in the palace so only pictures of the outside and garden were taken.

Below are pictures from Sweden taken on the ferry on our way back from the Palace

The Palace is a must see when in Sweden. It is unfortunate you can't take photos inside, still this should make you all the more intrigued.

Until next time, happy traveling!
